The Flute Society of Saint Louis is a non-profit organization operated by a board of directors that work on a volunteer basis. This organization strives to provide our members with activities that showcase the flute in professional and educational development. We provide events that cater to the needs of a diverse audience, which includes students, amateurs, professionals and teachers. Our primary goal is to offer flutists of all ages events that educate and enrich their knowledge of the flute, its performance and its repertoire.

Activities that we offer:

  • Recitals and Master Classes with Internationally Acclaimed Artists
  • Flute Festivals
  • Workshops and Lectures/Demonstrations
  • Student Competitions
  • Adult Competitions
  • Adult Flute Choir Performing Groups
  • Youth Flute Choir Performing Groups
  • Annual Member Showcases

DONATIONS WELCOME!

FSSL strives to bring high quality and interesting programming to St Louis to benefit the community. As a not-for-profit organization, the expense of providing our programming is always a concern. We rely heavily upon membership fees and donations so that we can continue to bring this caliber of programming to you. Please note that FSSL is a 501(c)(3) organization, and donations that you make will be tax deductible (please consult your tax advisor if you have any questions). We thank you for your support, as your contributions will continue to keep FSSL financially healthy and a strong organization.

All Flute Society of Saint Louis board members are volunteers. There are positions available for the next season. If you would like to join the board or get more information about open positions, please contact Shelly Monier at slmonier@yahoo.com.
